VIDA wants to be your Go-To website for all the major events that concern women’s writing. We’re going to make every effort to be in the know, so that you can be as well. VIDA Conference
The reason we first got all fired up about VIDA was due to the obvious need for a conference at which writers would be able to discuss the aesthetic and cultural concerns of women’s writing now. However, we soon realized that before we made any headway into planning a national conference, we needed to create an organization to support the scope of the conference we have in mind. We intend to introduce forums on our website that invite VIDA members to contribute their ideas about meeting the goals of our Mission Statement.
